I wanted a solid platform, the perfect weekend warrior-—built and engineered for purpose. A work hard and play hard vehicle. Something that’s simple to diagnose and fix on the trail. And it has to have aftermarket support.

I chose the Jeep Wrangler for the reasons I was looking for but also because it comes from a long lineage of American ingenuity. It’s brand has become an icon. When it comes to parts, it arguably has the most aftermarket parts made for a vehicle next your Honda Civic. My hope is that in a decade or two, it will still see good, hard use and will look good doing it.

It’s currently outfitted with various parts from Frontrunner Outfitters and it changes from time to time.
